The Winter Garden Theatre Project is a comprehensive restoration of an elegant Adam style interior. Key features in the project include the creation of a separate mezzanine lounge detailed with period features to match those of the 1923 Herbert Krapp renovation. In addition to plaster restoration and re-creation of the decorative painting palette, the carpet, drapery and seating, all designed by FRA, will be replicated in the style and fabrics of the period. The ticket lobby is being re-created in the style of the theatre proper. Support areas including patron toilets and production spaces are being improved and expanded.
