107 Mill Way is an 18th C. Cape Cod Style home. Neglected for many years, the original post, beam and plank structure is being restored. Wall and roof shingles, being replaced with components to match the original, will be left to weather to a soft patina. Inside, the kitchen, which had gone through several transformations, has been refurbished with period wood wainscoting and plaster finish applied above. The finishes in the remaining rooms will be restored. Updated building systems, including electrical, plumbing and mechanical are being carefully integrated into the antique building. In addition, the site is being landscaped with native trees, shrubs and flowers.
