One of the oldest extant classically designed Broadway theatres, the Belasco was meticulously restored in celebration of its 100th year. Lost boxes and plaster details were recreated; priceless Tiffany glass panels and lighting was restored, original murals were uncovered and the theatre was repainted in an artist's palette of deep reds, umbers and greens. Seating and draperies were remade in classical styles. In addition, the original marquee and display cases were recreated.
