Originally designed in the Elizabethan style, by Architect Herbert Krapp, the Barrymore Theatre had lost its original vibrant interior. Key elements of the project, including decorative painting and wall covering, seating and drapery, restored the theatre's rich, warm ambience. The ornamental metal standee rail was modified to create a transition space between the theatre proper and the lobby.
