The owner of this early 20th Century cottage had the desire to create a cozy ambiance in the existing living room space. The transformation included the removal of an unused entry, which was converted to a nine-lite window, and the construction of bookshelves, which flanked a window seat. On the opposite wall, a fireplace with multi-use shelving serves as the new central focus of the room.
